Explore the world of non-traditional materials in our Surface Printing class! Experiment with different inks on glass, metal, wood, plastic, and more! A demo will be done at the beginning of each class explaining the intricacies of printing with solvent-based inks, proper safety precautions, and jig-building to print on thicker materials. Plenty of class time will be provided to work on individual projects.

JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINTING This four-week woodblock class teaches the Japanese woodblock tradition. In class students will complete a 1-color woodblock print to practice their carving and printing chops, then move on to learning how to register multiple blocks and creating their own multi-color design.
