Are you looking to create beautiful and robust digital illustrations? Then Adobe Illustrator is the program for you. In this course, you will be introduced to the capabilities of this amazing application, and you'll learn the hows and whats of Illustrator's tools. We'll explore the fundamentals and go in-depth with Illustrator's most powerful and popular feature, the pen tool.

FOR FABRIC & WALLPAPER
Learn the ins and outs of printing in repeat and create your own handmade, custom wallpaper or fabric! The class introduces students to textile and repeat design by explaining both how to digitally lay out repeat patterns andhow to set up and print them. Practice your new skills with the instructor's guidance by completing a roll of your very own fabric or wallpaper in class!
4 Sessions: Begins Monday April 28th, 7-10pm
INTRO TO SCREEN PRINTING:
Get a guided introduction to screen printing in this all-day intensive course - and walk away with the confidence & troubleshooting tools to plan and execute your own projects!
Throughout the day, you'll get hands-on practice in everything that goes into the process of screen printing from start to finish - including preparing your artwork for the medium, coating and exposing your screen, setting up your workspace and equipment, working with inks, and making the right choices for your specific project.

HI-SPEED T-SHIRT PRINTING
This class instructs you how to use our 4- and 6-color screen presses to produce short runs of t-shirts, posters, or anything else your heart desires.Class will cover how best to expose your screens for the manual press, outline how to use the manual press's adjustment knobs to register your layers and proper use of the flash dryer. A short and sweet class that will speed up your printing, lickety-split.

4-COLOR PROCESS PRINTING
Want to print photographic imagery or smooth gradations? After we've demystified halftones and shown you how to design for the 4 color process, learn the printing side of the process. Get hands-on instruction on how best to expose your screens for easy registration, CMYK ink mixing, and what order to print your layers. There will be class time for you to work on your own 4 color process print with the instructor's assistance.
