Screen Printing Workshops for Kids (ages 7-11)
LEARN HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN T-SHIRT! In this no-experience necessary class our instructor will work with your child to print a t-shirt printed with their own drawing! Workshop will cover how to safely use the equipment and tools, and basic tips and tricks necessary to print their own t-shirt. This class uses only water based non-toxic inks. One 3 Hour Workshop Thursday December 27th, 10a-1pm or Tuesday January 1st, 1-4pm Price: $35 --- MAKE YOUR OWN CONVERSE! Learn how to customize your Chuck Taylors in this three-hour workshop! We'll work with your child to print their chosen image onto a pair of Converse sneakers. One 3 Hour Workshop Thursday December 27th, 1-4pm Price: $35 --- INTRO TO SCREEN PRINTING Our instructors will walk your child through the start-to-finish process of screen printing in this three-hour workshop. They'll learn the fundamentals of screen printing, from screen prep to final print, and how to troubleshoot along the way. This class uses only waterbased non-toxic inks. Screen Printing Workshops for Teens (ages 12+)
INTRO TO SCREEN PRINTING In this three-hour workshop, your teen will learn the fundamentals of screen printing from screen prep to final print - including the wide range of materials, equipment and techniques of screen printing. They'll become familiar with the process of making their designs compatible for the silk screen medium, to burning screens, pulling prints and problem solving. One 3 Hour Workshop Friday, December 28th, 10a-1pm or Monday, December 31st, 10a-1pm Price: $35 --- MAKE YOUR OWN CONVERSE! Just plain converse are just plain played out. At Gowanus Print Lab, we consider it our mission to ensure that all Chucks are properly adorned to the full satisfaction of the wearer. We'll provide your teen with a template for their artwork in the correct shoe size, and we'll prepare the files and the screens so that they can get straight to work, and leave the class with their own one-of-a-kind custom Converse sneakers.
