Submit your screen prints (paper, fabric- anything screen printed) to the GPL Member Art show! Show will feature 3-5 pieces per printer.
Exhibition will be on display during Brooklyn Museum's GO project (September 8th + 9th). The Print Lab will be serving as a hub for GO, which is sure to bring tons of eyes to your prints!
Opening reception will be on Sunday September 9th from 1-4pm. There will be beers and a sidewalk barbecue!
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
To qualify for this open call, you must have used a studio pass or taken a class at Gowanus Print Lab within the last year.
Please submit the following to info@gowanusprintlab.com by September 28th and 11:59pm:
- your full name, email address and telephone number - images of 3-5 of screen printed works you'd like to show - an image list outlining the title, dimensions and medium of your pieces - brief artist statement and bio/resume
Selected work must be dropped off by September 5th at 9:00pm in a ready-to-hang state. That means all framed works must have a hanging wire installed on the back at the time of drop off.
There is no submission fee, but if your work is chosen you will need to pay a $15 hanging fee to participate in the show. This fee is to cover the time and materials required to organize the exhibit.
